Questions

What is Kim?

Kim is an AI phone assistant for South African businesses. When you can't pick up, she answers your missed calls as your business, takes the caller's name, number and what they need, and emails it all to you straight away. She also phones your new website, email and Facebook leads back within a minute.

How do my missed calls get to Kim?

You dial a short code on your cell once; it's in your setup email. Calls you don't answer then go to Kim. You keep your own number and there's nothing to install. You choose how long your phone rings first (15 seconds, about five rings, unless you change it), and you can change it any time by dialling the code again. Forwarded calls use your normal airtime, like a call to a Cape Town landline. To stop, dial ##004#.

Do callers know they're talking to an AI?

Kim answers as your business's assistant and says the call is recorded. Most callers never ask. Anyone who asks gets a straight answer: yes, it's an automated assistant. Anyone who asks not to be called is never called again.

What does Kim cost?

Free for 14 days, no card (up to 60 minutes of calls). Then R590 a month plus R2 a minute for the calls (about R5 a lead). No contract: cancel any time.

Does Kim give prices or book appointments?

Kim never gives your customers prices. If you switch bookings on, she books appointments into the free times you choose, and you get each booking by email with a calendar invite. Emergencies aren't booked: they come to you straight away.

What kinds of businesses use Kim?

Salons and beauty, practices and clinics, offices, shops and any business that misses calls. Kim asks the questions set for your business, and you choose her name and voice.

What happens to my customers' information?

It's yours, and it's handled under POPIA. Kim uses it only to answer and phone your customers and report to you. Recordings and transcripts are deleted after 90 days, and nothing is ever sold.
